YESSS!!! We not only made it through hurricane Joaquin, but my couples totally rocked it and had amazing weddings. What a weekend!! On Friday, it was not looking too good for the weekend. Rain and cold all day long. Despite that, I made the drive to New Market to meet Jason and Susan for a couple of engagement pictures before their rehearsal dinner at a restaurant called Vintage. A little bit of rain couldn’t keep these two down!On Saturday, I headed to Glen Arm to Liz and Todd’s backyard for their amazing wedding. You guys…these two pulled off what seemed impossible. They were able to transform their farmette into a wedding venue despite the soggy conditions. Liz and Todd are also some of the sweetest people you will ever meet and their wedding was filled with so much joy. P.S. Check out those flowers that Liz’s sister did…amazing!!Yesterday, I made my way to Ijamsville (guess what, the “J” is silent…I learned that the hard way) to Glen Ellen Farms. I had never been there and it was just AMAZING, and so were Susan and Jason. Their love was radiating from them. I will admit, I have never cried so much at a wedding. Their story is beautiful and I can’t wait to share more with you on the blog later this week!
