June 23rd is a very special day for Victoria and Kevin. It is their dating anniversary, the day they got engaged, and now their wedding anniversary as well! These two had been together for 12 years on their wedding day, which they celebrated at the Double Tree Hotel in Annapolis. From start to finish they were just laid back and enjoying every moment of their special day. There was so many personal touches that made it even more special. For starters, Victoria and her friends made all of the bouquets and boutonnieres from various bouquets of flowers that they got from Trader Joe’s. They did such an amazing job, I loved the summery feel that they had. Second, Victoria wore and updated her mom’s wedding dress. It was so unique and fit her perfectly. Not only that, but she also wore her mom’s veil. Another thing that I love about this wedding was that they didn’t have a cake, but cookies that Victoria made herself! I also just love that this day was truly a celebration of two families coming together. The entire bridal party were siblings of Victoria and Kevin. After 12 years of being together (starting in high school) you could tell that their families have grown so close. It truly was such a special day of celebrating!
Loved the first glance with Victoria’s dad and brother! She also then showed them the picture of her mom wearing the dress as a comparison. What a fun surprise for everyone!!What a fun group…had to include all of these!! I was taking Victoria’s picture with her brother and sister….I look over and see this (pic on right)!! LOL…new family picture I think.
This was the very first wedding I had been to that had dueling pianos!! Each table had song request forms that they could fill out! It was SO FUN!This are the amazing cookies that Victoria made…not going to lie, I tasted one of each! These coasters were made by the bride and groom as well! Love the Celtic knot on each one!
At the end of the speeches from the groom’s family, Victoria was given her very own t-shirt. She is the 12th grandchild now! Love this! It was SUCH a fun party!! Thanks to some help from Cutting Edge Dueling Pianos!
