Where do I even start? Johnathan and Jessica are the sweetest couple like EVER! I mean…I seriously tear up when I see their love. It is just so raw and real and pure.
So let’s go to January 10th, their wedding day. It was a cold day when I drove over the bay bridge (the Chesapeake was like WAY frozen). I was thinking of indoor shots and poses the entire drive. But when I got there, Jessica was totally game for pictures outside! You guys…it was like 10 degrees. They totally rocked it! Anyways…enough about the weather. Jonathan and Jessica were high school sweethearts (or middle school sweethearts?) and their wedding day was just the best thing ever. You could feel the anticipation, the overwhelming love, the joy…this day was just full of it. I mean…I could not stop smiling as I was watching Jessica and Johnathan join together and become a family. I am so happy for them and just felt that it was such an honor that they chose me to capture their special day.
I met the girls at a Holiday Inn in Easton. The girls were totally chill, everyone just hanging out and having fun.
Love the TOMS!
I headed over to hang out with the guys and get some getting ready photos. Jonathan couldn’t stop smiling. We went out back to get a couple of photos. The guy were looking dapper!
Time to put on the wedding dress! Seriously? How gorgeous is she??
Love me some fun bridesmaids!Jessica and her dad did a first glance, it was so sweet! Then, Jessica and Johnathan had their first glance. You guys…this was one of the best ones!! Can’t you just feel their happiness?Next, was going to the chapel…going to get married!!
Proof that there is still anticipation when you have a first glance. I don’t know why, but I just love this next picture so much!
You guys…we did their bride and groom portraits in about 10 minutes. It was COLD and they were such troopers! Don’t they look amazing?
The reception had so many personal details. I loved it!The cake knife was Jessica’s parents’!I love the idea of leaving the couple a note for each anniversary. It will be such a gift to read those notes in the years to come. What a cool favor! S’mores!
Jessica and Johnathan played the shoe game. I had never seen it at a wedding before. The best man read a question and they would put up the shoe for the answer to the question. So if it was Jessica, they would put up Jessica’s shoe…if it was Johnathan they would put up Jonathan’s shoe! It was such fun…kind of like the newlywed game on TV.
Jessica changed for the last dance. She’s so pretty! Johnathan and Jessica, thank you again for letting me be a part of your wedding!!
