Today is bright, sunny and 75 degrees in FEBRUARY! Yeah, that’s insane. But this weather reminds me of Melody and Chris’s beautiful wedding back in the spring. It was a day just like today, so sunny and perfect. The wedding was at Belmont Manor which is a gorgeous historic mansion in Elkridge, Maryland (Howard County) with a pretty cool history. You should check it out and explore the grounds sometime (when there isn’t a wedding there of course). I love history and its even cooler when its close to home. Howard County Parks and Rec actually owns the property now which means its open for touring. Anyways, this is a wedding that I had the privilege of second shooting for Lauren C Photography. Lauren is so fun to work with as you will see the behind the scenes pics. Hope you like these pretty pictures!
Chris and Melody chose to do a first glance. I LOVE when couples choose this because it is always such a special moment.
After the first glance, emotions are so raw and I LOVE doing the bride and groom portraits then.
Melody was just GORGEOUS! She had to do a little spin in her dress which was just perfect.
I love this idea of the family tree displayed with everyone’s photographs.
Belmont has gorgeous grounds to get married on.
After the ceremony, we went down Belmont’s driveway and got in the creek to take photos…well Lauren got in the creek. Melody and Chris were such troopers!
This light was just perfect!
Thanks again Lauren for having me!
