Jason and Theresa got married at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville. It was such an honor to be a part of their big day and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them as a couple and celebrate with all the people that love them. Their ceremony was filled with traditions such as passing the rings around and praying a blessing over them and hand fasting. I loved hearing their story during the ceremony as well. It was really cool to see where they started and how they fell in love. Jason and Theresa had been running in similar circles for a while before they started dating. They were always polite and would say hello when they saw each other at the various music venues around Baltimore. One day Theresa did not exactly want to talk to a certain young gentleman anymore and used Jason as an excuse to get away. Jason and Theresa ended up chatting for a while and really hitting it off. Jason and Theresa are both artistic individuals. Theresa is a jeweler and Jason is a sound engineer so their personalities really compliment each other. A huge part of Jason and Theresa’s story is that last year they were victims of the Ellicott City flooding and lost almost everything. Jason was able to grab their cat and Theresa’s engagement ring before their home was flooded. You can tell that this situation only made them stronger. Jason and Theresa are sweet, caring, and were totally laid back on their wedding day. They obviously just enjoy being together and celebrating on their special day. Jason and Theresa, thank you so much for letting me join you and capture your love. I hope you love the photos!
As everyone was getting ready the craziest storm rushed through! It was pouring, but left us with a rainbow!
If I said it once, I’ve said it a million times…I LOVE when couples choose to do a first glance! How perfect is this??Pretty much obsessed with this pic! I love all the dresses and colors that Theresa picked out for her girls!Look at this amazing hair by Jennifer Love! Also, I love the personal touch of the hairpiece made with lace from Theresa’s grandmother’s dress. Overhills has this garden like area for the ceremony. The hanging lights off the trees were really pretty!
This cake topper was made by Theresa’s dad!
This is a memory box from things in their Ellicott City home.
Jason and Theresa had live music for their first dance. They had a friend sing a song and it was so personal! Time to party! Since Jason is in the music industry he made a play list while his friend was the M.C….and seriously the party never stopped! Thank you so much to the vendors who made this day possible!
