How I met the “K” family
Three years ago when I moved to Howard County, I basically didn’t know anyone. I did everything I could to get connected with other moms and this included joining my local MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) group. Now the one closest to me did not have room for my daughter, so I ended up at the Laurel location, which was just my luck! There I met some amazing people, including a friend who invited me to a PowerfulFitness Mommy and Me Bootcamp. If you know anything about me, you know that health and fitness is important but since having kids its been very difficult to maintain. I not only needed motivation, but my kids schedule had to line up for me to do anything active at all. Basically the stars had to align, so fitness fell on the back burner. So this brings me to how I met this incredible family. Hannah (the mama) is my boot camp instructor! I’ve now been going for over two years so I feel like I know her well enough to say this. She is AMAZING!! Not only is she knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivational….she is extremely kind! I feel so honored that I have gotten to know her. We also bring our kids to the bootcamp, so this means that sometimes she is chasing after my child so I can finish the last 5 burpees! HA!
10 year Anniversary
Hannah and Jonas celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary in February and Jonas’s parents got them this photo session as a gift! How nice is that?! After trying to find a pretty field, we decided that the perfect place would be in the property behind my house. I’m SO glad I finally got to take a family here. The tall grass and field is so pretty and it was a perfect place for their portraits. This makes me want to have my family portraits taken here too before they start developing on this land!! Anyways…I hope you like these family portraits taken in Howard County and can feel all the love! This stage of life can be hard, but its so good!
