Elayna & John
Elayna and John are high school sweethearts and are getting married later this year. The theme of their wedding is “Christmas in July” so we just HAD to go to the Lights on 36th Street in Hampden for part of their session. I was so excited to do their session for a couple of reasons. First, Elayna was my neighbor for about 6 years when I lived in Towson. By neighbor I mean we shared a wall because we lived in a townhome. Her parents are my dear friends and when I moved next door, Elayna was still in middle school! It was so fun to see Elayna grow up throughout the years and I remember her giggling and talking about John who she is now marrying! How fun is that?? Elayna I’m so proud of who you’ve become and I’m so happy for you guys!
We started the session at Clipper Mill which is a cute little area in Baltimore, MD. If you haven’t checked it out, you totally should! Aaron and I use to love to go to Woodberry Kitchen on our date nights and its amazing! Anyways, we then went to Hampden to check out the lights which was challenging for a couple of reasons. First, it was COLD…I mean not like a little cold, it was freezing. Elayna and John were such troopers though. Did you know that they don’t shut that street down? So cars were rolling down the street (sometimes a little too fast) as I was trying to set up lights. But all of that was absolutely worth it and I love how the photos turned out!
Tell me what you think about these fun Lights on 34th Street in Hampden!!!
