There are SO many things to coordinate when proposing. Jonathan had planned this proposal for a while. He had a custom sign made, he had family fly in, there were snacks, custom wine glasses, champagne, the ring! But there was one thing that Elyssa had hinted at that she wanted if Jonathan were to propose…a photographer! She had always wanted that moment captured. Enter…me! Jonathan knew he wanted to propose at Great Falls and had seen another proposal I had done at Great Falls (check out when Jason proposed here) and that is how we connected. The tricky thing about Great Falls is that there is little to no cell service…which makes it hard to make sure all the pieces come together as they should. But that they totally did!
Jonathan told me exactly what they would be wearing and gave me a huge hint as to how I could spot them. He said they are noticeably shorter than other people, ha! Luckily, I was able to find both Elyssa and Jonathan’s parents before they came strolling down the sidewalk. Also…we kept the general area as clear as possible (think about how many people thought they were being proposed to as they walked up to the sign!). I tend to blend in with a huge camera, just act like I’m taking pictures of the gorgeous views. Welp… the stars aligned perfectly as Jonathan walked up with Elyssa and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. I LOVE proposals and was so happy to be a part of this one!
Congrats Jonathan and Elyssa and happy wedding planning!!
