Wedding at The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore

The Belvedere Hotel In Baltimore

The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore is an iconic venue.  Its architecture is amazing which made it an absolute perfect venue for two architects to get married!  Pat and Courtney met and fell in love at work and live in Baltimore City.  It was important for them to find a venue that reflected all the things that they love and they found it in The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore.  What a perfect Baltimore Wedding Venue!

The First Look

Pat and Courtney decided to have a private first look in Mt. Vernon.  They knew they wanted their photos to reflect the history and beauty of the area.  The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore is only a couple of blocks from Mt. Vernon so it was an ideal location.  We spent some time walking around and grabbed photos featuring the monument and cobblestones…all very Baltimore!

Portraits at The Belvedere

After the first glance, we headed over to the hotel.  The Belvedere sign is iconic and every couple that gets married at this location needs to have some photos in front of it.  The bridal party were the family members of the bride and groom.  The girls wore emerald green which popped perfectly with Pat’s jacket.  Since this wedding was in February the bride also wore fur (even though it happened to be quite warm that day!).

We also got lucky that there were no other events happening on their wedding date, so we were able to go and get portraits in different locations throughout the hotel.   My favorite part was going to  Grand Ballroom, how stunning are these?!  This building really has so much character.

The Ceremony

Because this wedding was in February, Pat and Courtney utilized the Charles ballroom for their ceremony.  Pat’s best friend, Tyler, who is on staff at Mosaic Church was their officiant, which made is so personal and beautiful.  There was so much excitement and joy in the air!

The Reception

Right before the reception, we escaped upstairs and got one photo of the iconic Belvedere sign with the couple in the window.  This is the image that everyone wants when they get married there!  We didn’t have much time…I had one chance to get it right and I’m so excited I did!  After that, Pat & Courtney were introduced as husband and wife for the very first time.  The speeches had everyone laughing hysterically and the dances were so special.  It is a wedding that I will never forget and I’m so excited I was able to be a part of it!!
